Corn Patch Puppies is located in SE Iowa. My puppies are raised in a family environment and played with daily by my family!  I am married to Rusty. We have two boys,Caidin is 9 years old and Ryker, is 4 years old.

I come from a farm background where I was raised with horses, cows , goats, chickens and yes – we always had a lot of dogs! I was taught as a child that dogs are a special gift and to respect them and treat them as family. With this instilled in me at such a young age I have respect and a heart for all animals; but dogs are my passion.

Corn Patch started because I began to have people come to me and ask if I would whelp their females out and raise them to wean. After doing this for some time I felt that I could take this to the next level with a kennel of my own and be able to stay home with my children. I give my fur babies the best love, care and attention possible! Here at Corn Patch we believe puppies are not a object but family and are treated as so! I believe you see that in each and every one! I believe it shows in all the animals here at Corn Patch Puppies.

My kennel is a new kennel that is current on all Iowa and USDA Codes as I am licensed with both. My building is cleaned daily, everyone has food, clean water, and toys. Each dog also has carpet to lay on and some even have their very own blanket!

My dogs all get out and play in the grass every week as weather allows. Also I call all of my dogs in by name and they are all well mannered. It has taken a lot of of love and time but it is so worth it in the quality of our Corn Patch Puppies!

I was blessed with a great friend and breeder that helped me pick my breeding stock when I was getting started. My dogs all have good feet, knees, straight bites, clean eyes, Champion bloodlines and the smarts that it takes to make a great family member.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

Corn Patch Puppies guarantees your puppy to be free from infectious diseases for 4 days after the puppy leaves our premises and guarantees the Puppy to be free from genetic problems for up to one year of age.  Hip and joint problems can be caused by or influenced by overfeeding, improper diet,  failure to maintain proper weight, failure to provide sufficient exercise, over-exercising or improper exercising  which would be out of our control.

We will provide you with a puppy that is clean; in good general health and that has no known physical defects.  De-worming and age appropriate immunizations will have been completed and detailed in writing.  It is generally recognized that intestinal parasites (worms etc.) are common in puppies, and are a part of a puppy’s early development but we will make every effort to prevent parasites coccidia ,giardia and bordetella.  Often, however, the stress of change and travel can cause intestinal parasites or coccidia to emerge.  Buyer agrees to continue parasite testing and treatment (if necessary) with their veterinarian.

Genetic defects are covered by this guarantee for one year, including hips, eyes and heart.  A written examination from a veterinarian must state that genetic defect exists and be accompanied by x-rays and other testing as appropriate. I have the right for a second opinion with the veterinarian of my choice.
